Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Humber began working with Dr. Robert Traylor in 1997 at our original location on Third Street. He received a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Mississippi State University and his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College Of Optometry.

Dr. Humber credits Dr. Traylor for guiding him not only in the medical aspects of optometry but more importantly in how to treat each patient with the same care and concern as he does his staff and his family. From day one his philosophy has been to make sure every patient receives the best care possible. Dr. Humber loves Clarksdale and is active in the community. He has also taught Physics at Lee Academy for the last 19 years. In 2011, after many happy years on Third Street, he made the decision to expand and build a new practice at our current location. It has enabled us to add state-of-the-art equipment. He continues to stay current on all the latest advances in eye care and treatment so that he can provide the most comprehensive exams and treatments possible.
